After breakfast at the hotel, we walked up to the Palace and took a quick tour of St. Vitus Cathedral before joining an off and on bus tour of the city that we joined for two days which works well for someone with a bum knee.
Part of the bus tour included an hour cruise on the river so we took the chance to sit and enjoy the views of the city, Prague is a beautiful place.
A view from the river of the Charles Bridge.
Another view of the bridge.
We decided to have lunch on the cruise and it turned out to be good and also inexpensive . . . win win.
Linda is about to finish her apple strudel, not bad but needed more sugar, at least from the American perspective.
We jumped back on the bus and got off in "Old" town and stopped to do some shopping and also to hear the famous Astronomical Clock strike two.
After returning to the main square in new town we continued our shopping finally stopping at a scenic stop near one end before jumping back on our bus which stops just steps in front of our hotel. You know what they say in real estate . . . location, location, location! :-)
