In Grasmere at the cemetery were William Wordsworth in burried. Sharon was enjoying this section of the tour being the retired English teacher.

Obviously his grave site.
We had lunch just across a small stream from the grave site

Later we drove by the smallest house in Britain, more like two closets stacked on top of one another.

After a boat crusie across a lake at Windermere in the Lake district we took a ride on a steam engine train.
Mary Ann and Sharon enjoying the train ride.
Unique flowers along the rails.

This morning, Thursday, we first stopped at an acient battle field, Culloden, where the Scotts led by bonnie Prince  Charles lost to the British back in the 18th century.

I tried to enlist but was deemed to be too long in the tooth to serve, shucks.

We then went monster hunting at Loch Ness.
Jon, said that as he took this picture, Nessis was just behind us.

Jon and Sharon also at Loch Ness.

We finally got this rare shot of Nessie as we passed by.

Here are Linda and I at a high mountain pass in the Scottish highlands.
Mary Ann also  braved the gale force winds and rain in the highlands.

At days end we had dinner at the hotel in Glasgow
We started Wednesday (yesterday) near the North Sea, a cold and forboding place.

We had to see and play at Old St. Andrews golf course since we were in the area.

In the afternoon we stopped at a working sheep farm and saw some sheep dogs in action and I had to shear some sheep with assistance as you can see.

We all then fed some lambs.

Tbe sheep farm was beautiful - Scotland lowlands.

You can see the dogs working here.

Just average scene in Scotland.

Linda feeding a lamb.

Mary Ann also feeding some sheep, temps in the low 60s.

And finally Sharon feeding her lamb.
